OWL Architects is a medium sized architectural practice with a long standing presence in Suffolk.  Originally trading as Tayler & Green Architects, the practice is committed to the delivery of a high quality service to a broad spectrum of local and national clients.

OWL currently operate from offices in Lowestoft and Ipswich and employ skilled staff many affiliated with the RIBA, RICS and CIAT.  The practice currently has three partners who take overall responsibility for each new job:
Stuart Offord RIBA - Managing Partner
Stuart was born and continues to live in Norfolk. He completed his architectural training at Plymouth University and qualified in 1978. Having worked for a number of practices he became a Partner in 1980. Stuart is a Surveyor to the diocese of Norwich, Ipswich and St Edmundsbury.
Peter Woods MCIAT - Senior Partner
Peter was born in Oulton Broad, Suffolk and joined Tayler & Green Architects as an articled pupil in 1955. He became an Associate of the firm in 1969 and a Partner in 1974. Peter has a wealth of business experience and is heavily involved with OWL’s Care Homes portfolio.
Simon Smeaton RIBA - Ipswich Partner
Simon joined the practice in 2004, becoming a salaried Partner in 2006. Having spent much of his career in London he has experience of a wide range of building types and of working in Europe. He is currently involved in some of the practices larger educational projects.
The practice aims to produce buildings that represent good value for money, are user friendly and address current environmental issues. We are mindful of our professional and business responsibilities and copies of our Environmental, Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Equal Opportunities Policies are available on request. OWL are happy to work directly for a client or as part of a wider consultant team.
