The original house was a typical 1970s speculative property set in attractive grounds and OWL was commissioned to realise its potential. A number of additions were made including a music room, bedroom and lobby and the whole extensively remodelled. An existing cat-slide roof was removed and a new full height gable wing added much improving the appearance of the house and increasing the quality of accommodation at first floor level. All fenestration was replaced in timber and the masonry walls rendered effectively disguising the alterations. Built on former church land a number of covenants restricting development had to be negotiated with the Diocese prior to commencement.
